Fulfilling Our Destiny to Leave
a Legacy for Christ

Tammy Melton has served the local church both on staff and as a lay minister in the areas of music, children’s and youth ministry, Sunday School teacher for all ages, women’s ministry, and training and equipping people in the church. She was credentialed for ministry in 2000 with Servanthood Ministries. Tammy is also a 2006 graduate of CLASServices (Christian Leader, Author and Speaker Services). Because of her passion for helping others to find their spiritual gifts and to motivate them to get involved in ministry, she founded Legacy Ministries for Christ, Inc. in 2003.

Tammy speaks for churches, retreats, seminars, and mission trips abroad.Tammy’s recent book and Bible study entitled, Loving God with all Five Senses, shares how our physical senses relate to the spiritual realm and how misuse of the senses can hinder an intimate walk with God. Her articles have been published in Lifeline Journal and on InspiredMoms.com, and her story, "God Takes Care of Me" was recently included in the book, Praise Reports - Inspiring Real-Life Stories of How God Works Miracles Today.Tammy resides in Fayetteville, Georgia, with her husband, Bill, and daughters, Amy and Amber.

Tammy's Topics

This is just a sample of the many titles that can be presented in single messages or expanded for retreat or seminar formats. Tammy can also offer topics customized for your event.
Tammy Melton has a unique way of communicating so that new Christians can understand and seasoned Christians can be challenged. Though her heart is to train the interdenominational church for ministry, she emphasizes personal relationship with God above all, knowing that everything else is conceived through intimacy with Christ.
Loving God with all Five Senses Come to your senses...and draw closer to God! Whether it's a glimpse of a beautifully marked butterfly, the scent of a lilac bush or the shrill cry of a new baby, every day you experience God's creation through the gift of your senses. As intricate and awesome as our physical senses are, they can provide us with information that transcends the natural when we realize what each one signifies in the spiritual realm. Together they provide a road map to a more intimate relationship with God. This insightful Bible study shows the new Christian as well as the seasoned believer how to taste and see that the Lord is good, and how we can let the Lord be our vision and give us discernment. It also warns of the spiritual pitfalls that result when we misuse God's gifts of taste, touch, sight, hearing and smell.

"God is immense, vast, and transcendent, but Tammy Melton shows biblically that He is also intimate, close, and somehow knowable. Tammy's unique premise is not one of manipulation or formula, but of discipline and mystery. Loving God With All Five Senses will inevitably breathe life into your extraordinary journey of pursuing God. Tammy does not talk of loving God; she embodies it!"

God’s Word Will Not Return Void!

God sent Jesus, the Word, to the world, and He did not return void but did all that the Father sent Him to do. Find out what Jesus was sent to do. Jesus also will not return void to the Father when He returns the second time, but He will bring a church without spot or wrinkle!

He Loves Me!

Jesus had a divine meeting with a Samaritan woman who had looked for love in all the wrong places. This time Love found her, and she could finally proclaim, "He loves me!"

JOY in the Midst of Trials

When we go through trials we are tempted to lose our focus and thus lose our joy. What is the right focus on Jesus, on Others, and on Yourself during hard times?

Motivational Gifts

Ephesians 4 tells us that each one in the body of Christ is called to ministry, and when each one does his share, it causes growth in the church. Find out what gifts from Romans 12:6-8 you have and how each one functions in the body of Christ. This is especially good for a weekend seminar.

What is in the Way?

What is in the way of us getting in “the Way” of abundant life? This message takes a fresh look at the tabernacle of Moses paralleled to Jesus being the Way (the outer courts), the Truth (the Holy Place) and the Life (The Most Holy Place).
