An Online Media/Blog Tour connects online media (Blogs, Pod Casts, Web Sites, Internet Radio) across the Internet with authors (or other communicators) to post a written or sometimes audio interview about the author and their new book, project, program, or ministry.

Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. Many are associated with online newsletters or e-zines. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. As of September 2008, blog search engine Technorati was tracking more than 112 million blogs. That means on any given day there are millions of blog owners who must post fresh and original ontent on their blog or in their online newsletter.

An Online Media / Blog Tour is an opportunity for blog owners to host special guests on their blog. This hosting can be carried out in various ways from posting an interview in Q&A style, an article, or writing a a guest journal entry for the appointed day. Some special guests are asked to respond to reader comments, and others appear in live chat rooms associated with the particular blog. An organized Online Media / Blog Tour also allows readers to travel from one blog to another with the special guest. When combined with the release of a new book or product, an Online Media / Blog Tour can introduce an author to countless readers around the world.

Typically an Online Media/Blog Tour runs a total of 90-120 days from the first activity (inviting hosts and creating the online itinerary) to the last post of the two-week tour. Due to the length of commitment that we make to each author only a limited number of Online Media/Blog Tours will be scheduled each year.

NOTE: Please check with your Publisher, as they may pay for all or part of the Online Media / Blog Tour fee as part of their promotional/PR budget for your book.

NOTE: We cannot guarantee a certain number of hosts on your tour, however, we strive to get at least one host per day of the tour (with multiple hosts per day whenever possible). The maximum number of host per tour is dependent upon the number of books that are available to give by the author/publisher. Blog tour response and results depend on the name recognition of the Author, the topic of the book as it applies to a general audience, and the strength of the Author's web site.

Past Online Media / Blog Tours

Don't Give In--God Wants You to Win!: Preparing for Victory in the Battle of Life

(Harvest House)
Author: Thelma Wells

Click here for Online Media / Blog Tour Itinerary

"When I picked up Don't Give In...God Wants You to Win! I expected a light, fun read. Boy was I surprised! The book is actually a deep look at spiritual warfare and learning how to fight the battle. Don't worry! Thelma includes humor to keep things from becoming too heavy. Thelma gives a lot of great information. One thing I really liked is that she included whole Scripture passages (sometimes in more than one translation) in the text of the book. I know that when I read I book, I usually don't take the time open my Bible and read the passage at the time. I always plan to get back to it, but rarely do. Having the text in the book, made it certain that I would read it. I am going to be going back through this book again---much more slowly this time!" ~ J.D.

I AM Says, "You Are...": Understanding your Identity in Christ

(AuthorHouse)
Author: CJ Rapp

"WOW! What an awesome book! Thank you for allowing me to be a part!" ~ J.D, Blog Host

"I love the "I AM" usage and studied it for a hermeneutics class in seminary. God - Yahweh - revealed Himself in the OT as "I AM" and that's what made the NT pharisees so mad at Jesus -- in their minds, he had the nerve to refer to himself in the language of Yahweh. This book sounds like a terrific Bible study devotion. Thanks for the interview and attention to the book. Best wishes to CJ." ~ B.N. Blog reader

The Secret Holocaust Diaries: The Untold Story of Nonna Bannister

(Tyndale House Publishers)
Authors: Nonna Bannister, Denise George, Carolyn Tomlin

BOOK REVIEW: Julie Donahue, Blog Host

This is the first account I’ve actually read of someone surviving/experiencing the Holocaust that wasn’t Jewish. Nonna Bannister was a young Russian girl sent to a work camp when the Germans invaded the Ukraine. This is just a part of WWII that I know little about, and while Nonna’s experiences were not those of the Jews, it was no less horrific or traumatic.

This is not an easy book to read, but I think it is a real testimony of God’s sovereignty even amid the horrors of war. I loved the remembrances of her close, loving family – of their celebrations, reunions and just loving each other through daily life. I imagine those sweet memories were partly responsible for Nonna surviving mentally and emotionally as well as she did. The fact that she not only survived, but later married and enjoyed a family of her own – that’s just a greater testimony of abundant grace!

I cannot fathom the pain, the loss, the absolute horror of some of the experiences remembered by Nonna Bannister. I am, however, humbled and amazed that she took the time to write them down, translate them, and save them to later be shared with others. That speaks of a strength that only God can provide….and only when it is needed. He is faithful when man’s evil seems to be impossible to overcome. I am so thankful for the reminder of this promise, and I pray that should these dark times ever come to my door that I will face them in the same strength that Nonna Bannister displayed throughout her lifetime.

Amazing. God is so faithful! Nonna Bannister’s faith…amazing!

Whatever your product, you want to make it succeed, so you owe it to yourself to educate yourself on what worked for another woman and might work for you." ~ L.H., Blog Host

"This book is about realizing and maximizing your business potential and if you're not seeing the profits you should be, especially in this economic climate, this book will help guide you in a better direction.
